Tapered Woven Planter

A flared planter built on a metal frame and woven over by hand, so the bamboo takes the shape the frame holds. That is what keeps the taper true under a planted pot, where an all-woven basket would slump at the rim. The weave runs on the diagonal so the flare reads as a slight twist, and the frame carries down into the feet that lift it clear of the floor — indoors as easily as on a terrace. Made in a black and a dark brown.
