Lamps and lighting

Woven lighting does something a solid shade cannot: the weave becomes the light. A bamboo cone drops a tight circle onto a table while its rings glow at the edges; an openwork rattan pendant throws the pattern of its own weave across the ceiling. Table, floor, pendant and wall pieces are all here, each worked by a single maker, so the spacing between strands is never quite identical twice.
