A lidded cylinder in a tight pale weave, with a heavy gold-toned tassel hanging from the lid where a handle would be. The tassel is the lift. Everything else is deliberately plain, which is what stops the two elements arguing with each other.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
