Rings of bent rattan laid over one another into a rosette, each passing under its neighbour so the piece holds by the overlap instead of by a backing board. Pale relief against a plain wall, and the reason to place it near a lamp: raking light turns the overlaps into a second pattern of shadow. Hangs flat.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
