Knotted cotton rope worked into a domed crown and then let go into a long fringe skirt that hangs loose and moves. The knots hold the shape; the fringe softens the light and the edge of the shadow. Nothing about it is stiff, which is unusual for a pendant this size.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
