Ring-Link Chain Pendant

Rings of split bamboo linked one through the next into a hanging chain, ending in a single ring turned on its side to hold the bulb. The drop is the design: it wants height above it. Hanging free, the links turn slightly with the air, which is a thing a rigid pendant cannot do. Made in two finishes — white, where the links read as a line rather than a mass; and a natural brown that catches the grain of each split length and reads warmer and heavier.
