A floor lamp whose base is woven into a series of swelling gourd forms stacked one on the next, under a plain drum shade that keeps the eye on the column. Made in two heights. The rattan is worked over a frame, so the curves are the weave's own rather than a shape wrapped in it.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
