Two flat discs stacked one above the other, each built from split bamboo laid as fine radial ribs. From below the ribs converge and the two tiers read as one deep form. It is wide rather than tall, which is what lets it sit over a table without crowding it.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
