A bottle form woven in split bamboo, wide at the base and drawn in to a short neck, lit from inside so the horizontal bands read as rings of amber. It works standing on the floor next to a chair, where a shaded lamp would be one thing too many.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
