A large open sphere built from 6mm rattan laid in a grid, the rounds crossing so the surface is all square openings and no panel. At this diameter it reads as a shape in the room rather than a light fitting. The grade of the cane is what lets it hold a true circle.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
