A lantern of round bamboo slats set between a turned wooden base and a top ring, with a curved cane handle for carrying it or hanging it. The slats are spaced so that the light falls in bars on the surface around it.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw. Sizes are approximate for the same reason.
