A cylinder of open whitewashed weave on a dark ring base, so the shade is pale and the foot is not. Light passes out through the whole wall of the cylinder rather than the ends. The base gives it enough weight to stay where it is put.

Handwoven by artisans in Northern Thailand from natural fibres. Because each piece is shaped by hand, slight variations in weave, tone, and form are natural — the mark of genuine craft, not a flaw.
