Rope Cylinder Table Lamp

Twisted natural rope, finished in lacquer, worked into an open square lattice and drawn into a tighter collar at the top. Behind the lattice stands a frosted inner shade, so the light comes through softly and the rope reads in silhouette against it. The cylinder rises from a pale wooden disc and swells slightly along its height, as a piece shaped by hand does.
