Combed-Texture Ovoid Vase

Short, overlapping combed strokes cover this ovoid from top to bottom, over a broad shoulder that narrows to a small foot. They run vertically but never quite line up, so the surface shimmers a little as the light moves across it. The colour is a pale, even sand, which leaves the texture to carry the piece without help from stain or contrast.
