Marbled Black-Dipped Slim Vase

Two halves, one quiet and one busy. The lower body, where the form swells, is dipped in matt black; above it, a long slim neck carries streaks of cream and tan that sweep diagonally around the piece. The line between them is soft rather than sharp, so the black seems to rise into the pattern. Keeping the weight of colour at the bottom makes the tall neck look taller still.
