Marbled Ring Lidded Canister

A straight cylinder ringed from base to top with shallow horizontal ridges, finished with a flat, stepped lid. The White Marbled finish on the mango wood runs the other way: pale streaks drop vertically through the rings, so the two directions cross and the surface never settles into plain stripes. The lid is left without ridges, which gives the eye somewhere quiet to rest at the top.
