Orange Lacquer Twisted Tall Vase

Bright orange, and glossy enough to throw back a hard highlight from every ridge. The tall body is wrapped in angled folds that twist around it as they climb, so the silhouette never settles into a straight line. In a quieter finish the folds would be subtle; in this colour each one is picked out in light and shadow, and the piece becomes the first thing you notice.
