Turquoise Faceted Barrel Vase

Open at the top and cut into long vertical facets that gather towards a narrow foot. The facets keep the barrel shape from looking soft, and each ridge catches a thin line of light. Most of the surface is left as bare, open-grained mango wood, with turquoise marbling gathered towards the rim and sides, so the colour reads as something passing over the wood rather than a coat on it.
