Turquoise Lipped Cylinder Vase

The constant here is the lip: a thick, rounded rim turned at the mouth, like the top of an old milk bottle. On some pieces it sits on a short, straight neck; on others it rises directly from the tall body. The colour varies even more, from dark swirling brown threaded with turquoise to a body washed almost entirely turquoise under a pale wood neck.
