Turquoise Shouldered Column Vase

Column is the right word: tall and straight, easing in at a soft shoulder and carrying on upwards as a neck of the same plain line, with no lip at the rim. It is a quiet outline that leaves the marbling to do the talking, long vertical bands of turquoise and brown that, across the three photographs, range from mostly turquoise to mostly wood. Narrow forms like this stand well in a group of three.
