One cut defines this piece: a narrow slot runs straight down from the rim to roughly the middle of the body, and the rim dips towards it from either side. The rest is restraint. The tall, tapering body is mostly bare, swirling mango wood, with a single turquoise vein tracing down one side. Turn the slot to face the room, or turn it away and the vase reads almost plain.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw.
