Turquoise Twisted Wave Vase

The surface of this tall, slender vase is twisted into shallow ripples, as if the wood had been wrung gently from top to bottom. The rim is left uneven, following the waves rather than cutting them off. Turquoise ribbons run along the twist on one side and spread wider near the base, so pattern and form move in the same direction. Light from the side picks out every ripple.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw.
