Flame Charred Vase

Three charred vases at 33, 42 and 46 cm — the tallest pieces in the range. The char is worked hard into the surface and then cut back, so the burn survives in the low grain and the raised figure returns pale. At this height the pattern has a long run and the vertical grain does most of the work. Sold singly or as the trio; the heights step deliberately, so grouped they read as one form seen three times.
