The rim is the surprise: a row of small, sharp zigzag points around an otherwise soft and quiet vase. The body swells to its widest at the middle and narrows at both ends, and the white is thin enough for the warmer wood to show through towards the base, along with a few faint marks on the surface. Calm from a distance, unexpectedly spiky up close.
