Black Stepped Low Bowl

Coming SoonHand-made

Wide and low, it climbs in uneven tiers to a small round opening at the centre. The steps are not crisp: each ring swells and dips slightly, so the black surface catches light in soft bands rather than hard lines. The colour is a flat, even black, and the piece sits low enough on a shelf to pull the eye in towards the mouth.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw.
