Lifted on a small, narrow foot, the round belly of this bowl curves back in at the shoulder towards the rim. White and sand-coloured streaks run mostly upright, from foot to lip, which draws the eye up the form. The narrow foot leaves a band of shadow underneath, so the bowl appears to float just above the surface it stands on.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw.
