Marbled Leaf Dish

The outline is round, but not quite, and at one point the rim pinches up into a short stem, which is what makes it a leaf. The marbling here comes in large patches rather than veins: broad areas of white sit against a warm tan, with a fine pale speckle over both. Set on its own on a side table or a windowsill, the stem gives it a direction to point in.
