Orange Lacquer Stepped Lidded Bowl

Coming SoonHand-made

Lift the lid and this is a footed bowl; leave it on and the whole piece reads as a small orange tower. The lid rises in steps to a short open collar at the top, and a few fine rings run around the shoulder of the bowl. The lacquer is a bright, even orange with a soft gloss, the same colour from foot to top.

Every piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly alike. Yours will follow the design you see here, with small differences in shape, colour and texture that make it one of a kind. That is the beauty of handcraft, not a flaw.
