Pedestal Plate (walnut + turquoise)

Raised on a short pedestal, a shallow plate in deep brown, with lines of turquoise that follow the grain across the surface rather than cutting through it. The lift throws a shadow under the rim and gives whatever sits on it a small sense of occasion. Made in a small and a medium, and as a pair.
