Scalloped Bowl, Gold-Leaf Interior

Dark outside, gold within. The walls are fluted into soft lobes that carry right up to a scalloped rim, and the inside is laid with gold leaf broken into a fine crackle, so it reads as texture rather than a flat shine. From above it opens like a flower; from the side it is a quiet, dark bowl with a bright line of gold at the lip.
